Our lab presented two posters at 2019 TAC-ITS Canda Joint Conference & Exhibition held in Halifax from September 22-25, 2019. This joint conference was hosted by the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) and Intelligent Transportation Systems Canada (ITS Canada). Dr. Seungho Yang and Professor Peter Part in Civil Engineering presented our posters at the conference.
The two posters presented our preliminary research works on a pedestrian movement comfort using surveillance camera entitled with “Development of a computer-vision based real-time pedestrian comfort estimation system” (Dr. Seungho Yang, Dr. Pio Claudio, Afnan Ahman, Dr. Peter Park and Dr. Gunho Sohn) and “Advanced rail infrastructure mapping technologies for train derailment mitigation” (Drs. Gunho Sohn, Mozhdeh Shahbazi, Peter Park and Ali Asgary).
