Research Projects
Landmine detection using polarized camera
Active
This research leverages polarized imaging for landmine detection, capturing light at multiple angles (0°, 45°, 90°, 135°) and full-light images. Polarization features reveal surface anomalies and material differences, which are analyzed using advanced computer vision techniques. This approach improves detection rates, reduces false positives, and enhances safety in demining operations.
